It takes over 1000 jobs from a diverse community to bring the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games to life.

From 4 - 15 April 2018 the Gold Coast will welcome 6600 athletes and team officials from 70 nations and territories and visitors from all over the world, to compete and enjoy the biggest event Australia will host in more than a decade.

The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation's (GOLDOC) vision is to stage a "great Games in a great city" leaving great memories and great benefits for all.
 
As part of our legacy, GOLDOC is committed to delivering tangible outcomes through a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) for the first nation people of Australia. The RAP supports training and employment opportunities specifically for Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander people.
